When Art ATTACKS

August 19, 2009

I’ve just been looking through work from the first year, first term of university – it’s not pretty…

I went to the Banksy exhibition, it wasn’t far away and it was free entry, you can’t turn that down.

If you haven’t been you’ve probably all seen a million different rubbish quality no-flash images of the work on display, so I won’t post any more of that.

Instead, check out some of the pieces that were hidden amongst other exhibits in the museum.

NO STABBING

NO STABBING

I used to be a Banksy hater – I thought his work was obvious and annoyingly satirical like Mock the Week but it seemed more viable in a gallery setting. Like I previously stated on The Twitter. I even went back for a second visit. It was the same.

Disnep.

August 3, 2009

Cause of the handwriting in the logo, I used to think Disney was called ‘Disnep’ cos it was French or something.

A really good show not reflected by my poor photography and this small selection of people’s work.
YOU SHOULD’VE GOT OFF OF YOUR COMPUTER AND GONE TO SEE IT.

‘Manning’ the BAGC Exhibition was a long sparkling-water filled four hours. After this I shaded in the front page of the Guardian for an hour.

Godmachine

June 16, 2009

HELLO SERIOUS POST.

godmachine

While ‘manning’ the BAGC exhibition, a past graduate came into view it, he turned out to be ‘godmachine’. He didn’t get the highest of grades at UWIC but is now producing work for clients like adidas.

ROLE MODEL.

He was a pretty kewl guy and his drawings are nice, despite the tutors hating on them.

Here is his site.

Sorry if it sounds like I’m bumming him. This was never intended to be a bum post.

SPIDEY

wow this blog ran its course about five posts ago.

Hello fans.

My latest creation is going to be unpopular with many of you, I’ve taken a step back from the mainstream and found influence elsewhere.

pruane2forever has been a hero of mine for many weeks now, his youtube videos generate much hope and lulz.

Here is my tribute to this wonderful person. He deserves it.
